YESTERDAY ONE OF MY DOGS GOT LOST AND ENDED UP BACK AT THE TRUCK...A HIKER TIED HIM TO THE BUMPER...AS I'M WALKING DOWN THE TRAIL TO THE TRUCK I RUN INTO THE HIKER AND SHE TELLS ME THE DOG IS TIED UP AT THE TRUCK...OK COOL...THEN I GET A CALL FROM THE HUMANE SOCIETY SAYING THE DOG CATCHER JUS BROUGHT MY DOG IN...NOW THE PART I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT THE DOG WAS TIED TO MY TRUCK..AND THEY UNTIED HIM AND TOOK HIM....THATS THEFT RIGHT?..THEY COULD HAVE JUS PUT HIM IN THE BACK AND CLOSE THE TAILGATE IF BEING ON A ROPE WAS A PROBLEM...
NOW I GOTTA GO GET HIM FROM THE (HHS)...FIRST THING THEY ASK ME FOR ID...I DON'T HAVE IT ON ME...SO NOW THEY WON'T GIVE ME THE DOG...GREAT...NOW WE GO BACK AND FORTH.."WHY YOU STOLE MY DOG?"..."HE COULD HAVE BIT SOMEONE" THEY REPLY......WE GO BACK AND FORTH FOR A HALF HOUR..."JUS GIMME MY DOG"...I SAY 50 TIMES......LONG STORY SHORT I HAD TO PAY $20 TO GET HIM OUT...
AS I'M WALIKNG OUT TO THE PARKING LOT A GUY RUNS UP TO ME AND SAYS "I OVERHEARD YOUR SITUATION...JUS TO LET YOU KNOW...BECAUSE OF THE SHITTY ECONOMY....THE (HHS) IS NOT RECIEVING AS MUCH DONATIONS AS USUAL...SO THEY'RE DESPERATE FOR MONEY!"

Sorry to hear about your drama with the HS. They have a reputation for this sort of stuff. Glad to hear you got your dog back. Was the $20 a fee? Thats a pain.
