Maui hunt
Went on a great hunt Wednesday with my brother in law Brandon and bradda Angel up Haleakala.
We left Lahaina at 0230 and checked in at the Waipoli station at 0430. Parked the truck and walked inland. We could hear the goats were in the area but was still dark. Once morning broke, the bullets went flying. What a rush. By 0630, we field dressed 2 nanny's. We continued to hike around the west side of Polipoli and check out about 1330.
Got back home at around 1430, de-bonned one goat and prepared Kilawin with the other.
One case Heinekin, one medium bottle JD, and 3 cans of diet coke later- PRICELESS
Aloha, ike
