Pheasent and Turkey

Wondering if anyone hunting for Pheasent and Turkey with BOW. Like try hunt those birds with my recurve, mainly Oahu and probably Kau near my family in Pahala. Just PM me.

Aloha from way up here on a remote Alaskan island.
I have a lot of experience hunting turkeys and pheasants both- but only bowhunted turkeys in spring and have managed to get 3 of them with my arrows now. All of those came from sitting in a blind and calling them in. I can tell you the stuff that I learned worked, I tried for years without a blind without success, if you want to drop me a private message or e-mail. I watched films of guys hunting pheasants with bows in South Dakota while flushing them, a lot of misses, but they managed to whack some. It looked like fun, but it would take a place with lots of pheasants you can flush. Might do better sitting over a feeder that has birds coming in to it. Sounds like some guys get peacocks that way. anyhow, good luck brah, if I was over there I'd for sure go hunt turkeys and pheasants with ya.
