baiting pigs

Tue Oct 20, 2009 4:33 pm by m16a2soldier

every one I talk to says to bait pigs with corn. one fella even suggestions putting some in a container with honey and water and letting it ferment a couple of weeks. is there a reliable mix or additive to bring in the old boars? or is straight up best?

Bird Hunting Oahu.

Sun Sep 27, 2009 7:30 am by UpFront

Just sending out a feeler for other bird hunters on Oahu. I am moving out to Kapolei and would really like to do some bird hunting. I got into it a little at the tail end of last season and enjoyed it a lot. I've still got much to learn and I figure the best way is to hook up with some other hunters. I plan on getting a bird dog as well so anybody with any good info on breeders on Oahu please give...

Maui hunt

Fri Oct 16, 2009 10:59 am by Ikestr

Went on a great hunt Wednesday with my brother in law Brandon and bradda Angel up Haleakala.

We left Lahaina at 0230 and checked in at the Waipoli station at 0430. Parked the truck and walked inland. We could hear the goats were in the area but was still dark. Once morning broke, the bullets went flying. What a rush. By 0630, we field dressed 2 nanny's. We continued to hike ar...
