harvesting vana

anyone knows the best time to harvest the black short spine vana.every time i pick vana no more to much goods in um and what you do to stop it from melting?

Bruddah Mike this is how I pick mine!!!!
I think it's right after full moon to be the fullest.as far as melting there is no way for the short spike one unless you eat it right there and then.the long spike one doesn't melt but you would have to have an acquired taste and be very careful handling it!hope this helps......TED
