no secret that mutts are a better and more healthly dog....pure breed run into the same problems as with royalty back in the midevil days the inner breeding made them come down with health prohlems.........doctor till today say that mixed breed children have better health in genral.

dogs are no different. i believe that mixed lines from Hawaii live longer than pures from the mainland. i speak for myself of course. i remember growing our hounds would live 8years. tops my hounds go up to 12-14......
