They work alright I use um everyday and sometimes in places where my life depends on it LITERALLY!!! Those who know where i work and what I do know what I mean. Theres pro's and con's to everything I guess what works for some dont work out for others so I guess it all depends. As far as the boots go they are very expensive I have a job that they are somewhat of a requirement now so it has allowed me to try them before buying so to speak so that has helped out alot I didnt have to spend all that money just to find out that they arent good.

Tabi's= Pro's: Good all around footwear,good grip,very light,flexible,fast drying etc
Cons: No arch/ankle support,limited sizes,split-toe (I prefer closed toe),no cushion etc

Rubbah Boots w/spikes= Pro's: Waterproof,good grip,flexible,light etc
Cons: No arch/ankle support,Limited sizes (also can order in Reg. or wide calf, I use wide calf) also no cushion

Calked Boots= Pro's: Good arch/ankle support,excellent grip,cushioned sole,waterproof,replaceable calks etc
Cons: Heavier than previous two,calks can cause serious injury,bottom not as flexible etc

These are just some general pros and cons about the footwear I use I also use felt bottom tabi's and lug soled boots as well.
