My New Toy

33" Ross Cardiac 70# Truglow lighted tooless sight. Quad Hunter drop away rest. Bling Sling. kwikee three arrow quiver... I can't wait to sight in. I shot a few arrows in the back yard, it shoots like a frickin rocket, and feels great.

LOL, I almost did! I guess I didn't tie on the D-loop good so when I drew back on it the knot slipped and I cracked myself in the jaw so hard I almost knocked myself out. With the release in my hand it was like brass knuckles. I'm eating oatmeal today. I was at almost full draw so it's a good thing I had an arrow knocked.

My grandfather always said it's a good sign when the first blood drawn with a new weapon is your own blood.......He gave me a pocketknife when I was 8 and made me prick my finger with it to officially make it MY knife.....(and I think to teach me to respect the blade).

Nice Christmas present......I want to hear all about it's first hunt!
