Kualoa Ranch

Anybody have any input on the hunting in or around this area? I've found a great oppurtunity and am just looking for any information anyone is willing to share! Mahalo!

EVERYTHING IS SOLELY HANDLED BY & WITHIN THE RANCH.
IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY & WILL PROSECUTE ANY/ALL TRESPASSERS/POACHERS TO THE FULLEST.

JUST ABOUT 8 SQ. MILES:
6.2 SQ. MILES MAUKA OF HWY:HAKIPU'U-KA'A'AWA
ABOUT 2.3 MILES OF PROPERTY MAKAI OF HWY:MOILILI FISH POND,MAC FARM, ETC.

Neva been in dea always wanted for try em but don't no anybody who get access for dat area.I remember driving pass 1 time and seeing some good size pigs walking along da fence.look pretty easy tho da hunt den again I could be wrong

Isn't it the place where they film all the movies on Oahu and have a set-up for tourists ?

Used to hunt there when I lived on Oahu. On the paintball side, but could only hunt afternoon so neva have much time for hunt far. Plenty pigs inside dea. Was one good short hunt with plenty pigs

Aloha braduh Muns my uncle was da ranch boss at the time around 1960's till somewhere in 2000's and l would come over from big island during the summer to work on the ranch along with my cousins and the foster kids he and aunty help raise that l must say was the hi light of my youthful days growing up.. and the wild pigs at that time were like rubbish.. He's retired now but lives right across the street by the beach that the ranch had blessed him with.....aloha tc kuniole pua'a

Alohas Jusacruzah! Braddah if you get the pass for go hunt ova there, whether it be privately or public with permission. Go for it as long it is legal! Beautiful country to hunt. Was always good to hunt where nobody or hardly anybody hunted, even tho was for only 2-3 hours of hunting. Good Luck and Hope you have the chance to take a great opportunity of choice hunting, and not to mention the scenery! Alohas!

Az not unko Abe Akau ah??? If it iz den garanz we met each other back in the days.
My grandfather was Joaquin Souza dey jus called him Joe. He was da hvy equipment operator for da ranch. We lived da last house in Ka'a'awa Valley just below da bull pen. He passed away in Hakipuu building the old road from hakipuu to the valley.

Aloha brahduh Muns thats him uncle manny, aunty fanny and cuzins.... lm pretty sure we've met along the way in fact uncle came down big island last october for 1week and stayed with me to go on a big cattle drive on a ranch that he used to work on but had not seen since the 1950's after he took on the job at Kualoa Ranch...it was

such a cool thing to have him come over to hang with me lol....aloha.....

those who poach kualoa I hope I don't catch you...or your dogs. mahalo...recently some activity. I would cool it..it's a matter of time.

I thought so was him had to be he was unreal I used to love watching him do his thing. Brah I can almost GAURANTEE we met at sometime Uncle Abe and My Grandpa was very close friends I believe my Grandpa hired on at the Ranch in the mid to late 50's and was thier till his death in '84. Castrating was da best I used to get all bus up trying to mug da calfs while Uncle Abe and my Grandpa used to LAUGH thier butt's off But back in those days when they said go, you went PERIOD!!! Yup like you those were definitely the highlights of my youth growing up thier. And yup da hogs was like rubbish and BEEG kine too 150+ kine was common and used to love watching da big kine boars in da paddocks some AWESOME memories.

I bet Uncle Abe loved being up there and doing that cattle drive man he was awesome on a horse and roping. I remember onetime when we was rounding up some wild cattle in da back paddock by da swimming hole. He had us cut off da cattle and bring um down toward him when all of a sudden one big grey boar came busting out and was charging da horse. He when rope and dally dat bugga up so fast we was like DAMN!!!

Aloha braduh Muns l can agree with you that uncle is a legend all by himself as a real Paniolo and 1of the last 1's around l really sat down with him to tell me his story of the fearless ways this speacial breed of men would seek out a wild bullock deep in the forest on maunakea mountain at night too rope um tie um up and later lead out of the mountain to the closest pen wich could take days ...Auwe wild cattle is still being caught today old school way and od course mordern tech...waiting for aunty to fix up that mountain oysters at the end of a branding was always worth getting dirty and banged up for..l hope we do get to ,meet up someday my braduh GB @ TC.....Jr Kahele (kuniole Pua'a)
