Re: Bill to Ban Pocketknives
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
What genious proposed this one?
I'm sure 99.99 percent of all so called "pocket knife" uses are for utility. And they surely save more lives than they take.
Furthermore, if somebody is intent on carrying a weapon with them, they aren't limited to knives, nor would any criminal be prevented from carrying a knife by this law- only law abiding citizens would be effected. Criminals don't abide by laws. So in a sense, this would have negative effects on our safety.
I emailed Gary Hooser but it wouldn't surprize me if he supported it.

Pocketknife Ban Proposed???
Holy Cow! WTF? that is totally ridiculous, pretty soon we won't be able to have knives in our kitchens either, they might be dangerous to the meat and fruit we need to cut, pretty soon we won't be able to eat meat or harm fruit either.........okay, what kind of person goes to the trouble to even write such a stupid law and take it this far? I can't help but think there's no way for this one to pass. Does this mean a sheath knife is okay, but a folding one that goes in your pocket isn't? anyhow, Okay I'm done ranting about it, something like this is hardly worth my breath......
Very Well said in the previous post- "Looney Lane" here we come!
