Taurus Judge .45 .410

I was thinking of getting this for emergency home defense. Anybody tried one of these. What you guys think.

I think if you got 410 ammo laying around, that will do the job. Would it be legal? Is that considered a shotgun??? The minimum barrel length for a shotgun is 18 inches.

takes either 45 colt ammo or .410 shot shells. Not sure about being illegal or not. Gotta check that out.

It's legal because of the rifled barrel, and you better get know your laws about home defence before you go about defending it.

Look here or do a search for Hawaii castle doctrine. It's not what you will expect, pretty messed up.
