Any body got any experience with these dogs?

Nope but they "sound" like theyll have action after reading the info on them..... Is that the same as wirehair pointer or just same looking?

From what I've read they come from the same stock as the German wire haired pointer but have a strict performance standard. From what I've read were developed by a group of hunters that noticed a decline in the performance of working breeds because of their being bred for looks and traits other than performance. deutsch drahthaar must pass strict performance testing to be bred.
So to answer your question, it sounds like the difference between the two would be performance caliber. But if you've had any expectations for a dog before, than you know how that can go! Hoping to find someone with 1st hand experience.

Bad ass dogs! They usually set the tone on how they want to hunt, but it also depends on what kind of dog handler you are also. That breed of dog was developed to hunt and that it does.
