shoes boots or tabis???

Aloha to all da braddahs just was wondering what you guys prefer as fare as footwear goes depending on terrain?

For dog n knife, I use Bellville combat boots with screws in the bottom of the sole, wont use anything else. for archery, I use cheap walmart hiking boots.

I just screw sheet metal screws (the hex head ones) in from the bottom. I had learn that from Bradda Ted ( Moosehead ). Can run river rick top speed n no need worry.

Looks like i need to make a pair,lol. My dad was telling me how he used to use tubbies, anyone know how those work out? i wanted to try cuz there so damn light : ) but as fart as grip does anyone know?

They pretty good, I get size 13 feet n they no make em my size but I had try use them for a bit n lost most of my toe nails,lol, fo real. But had good grip. all the people I know that use it like it.

Good thing i half japanese, size 9 feet. Think i might try it out.

Ive used tabis for so many years now it feels wierd wearing anything else. It takes some getting used to, good socks and a shoe insert help though. You can wrap duct tape around the middle and ankle for extra support. If you are wearing them often and hunting hard the heels me be the first to blow out, in less than a year, which is hard to justify cause they can be a bit pricey. They are a bit slippery over the river rock but I like the way you can bend your foot over whateva youre standing on. N when everybody else stay slipping down the hill in the mud im still standing.

Ha i thought the mud would be slippery and id be prime on the rocks, lol small kind backwards. Well said Vidinha, the only way to find out is to try it. Shouldnt be to bad, if worse comes to worse ill just use my japanese feet and ninja my way thru the mountains ; ) Thx for the help.
