Taxidermy

Hey Guys
great site, all those pictures get me excited to go hunt your islands. I still have 2 feet of snow in my yard here in idaho. I have family that lives on kauai and I'm planing a hunt next time I'm over. One question though, I see you guys killing some nice trophies, does any one get any taxidermy done? is there a place on the islands to have it done.

Welcome! Yes there are quite a few guys here in the state that do taxidermy. I am not sure about Kauai specifically though but wouldn't doubt it that if you can't find one before you're on the way over you should be able to before you leave. Good luck!

Hey wat part of idaho you from? I was born in Pocatello and raised in boise and cant wait to get back there and do my annual archery elk hunt! How was the winter this year? is there goin to be a good hunting season w plenty on water?

I live about 1 hour south of pocatello in the preston area. we had a very mild winter this year. looks like drought. where do you hunt this way?

latley ive been doin most of my hunting on the other side of the state up in the McCall area but before that i use to hunt alot above Ashton and the Island Park area. When i was going to college at ISU i had a buddy from Bankroft? (Soda Springs)? and we would hunt deer up there alot and would get some big boys up there! Where do u do most of your hunts?

Grew up hunting the sun valley and sawtooth areas now they are full of wolves, hunted the rexburg and ashton areas during the college years, Full of wolves now. the last 10 years have been spent from pocatello to the border here. I still hunt bears in the salomon river wilderness country even though it is full of wolves. lots of elk down my way just nothing big, the deer in this south west area a re not doing very well. I will see if I can post some pictures. also whats the story with hunting on the islands? have you got any taxidermy done there?
