so I finally watched this the other day, and I am wondering what is the point? the message I got from this show is that Japan is killing whales for research and if a whale is killed for research, the meat is O.K. to sell. but the show only goes on about the sea shepard vessel. there wasnt much info about conservation and management of the whales. any of you guys know. Do the whales need to be regulated and are there enough?

It would be interesting to hear some other points of view about it.

The cove is another good movie about whaling or better put dolphining, allbeit one-sided.
