7 month old plott hound for sale

I get on 7 month old plott hound he is kinda shy and I never try hunt him yet but he come from one hunting bloodline dont have time for him. For sale or willing to trade for helping dog.

The type of dog no really matter as long as its not pure pit. Right now I have some BMC some redbone hounds and some catahoula/pit. I would rather trade this dog instead of sell but as far as price I guess just make an offer.

I got a dumb question... what's the bare minimum of dogs needed for hunting pigs. How many and what kind?

depends on where you hunt. some pastures in waimea only need one dog. and then forest you need more. The most dogs i take hunting is 6. As far as the type i guess what ever you like. I think you can get any dog to hunt depending on how much time and effort you re willing to put in to a dog.

Me i personaly dont like to take more than 5 pig dogs and at the most two pups most times i catch the pig with three or two dogs unless i hit em when all the dogs are close.

But i know some guys like to hunt a fox hunt when they go...lol

Curious...did you get your BMC from W.C. in Hilo? I crossed a pure BMC from him with a Bird/Bull/Greyhound/Ridgeback/Airdale and so far the pups are showing good in the mountain. Little bit noisy in the kennel though because they are good watch dogs and have high prey drive. Bark at people, lizards and birds, etc.!!!

I got the BMC from my cousin as a pup yes he from hilo. How old are the pups that you have? How much of them do you have? Oh my BMC has half redbone hound he is not pure.

I kept 2 pups from the litter. They are about 9 1/2 months old. The rest I gave to friends.
