here are some interesting pig facts. got any others!

1.The scream of a frightened pig can measure 115 decibels, higher than the taking off noise of a jet engine (113 decibels).
2.The largest litter of piglets ever born included 37 piglets, out of which 36 were born alive and 33 survived.

Pig's Tongue contains 15,000 taste buds. For comparison, the human tongue has 9,000 taste buds.

Funny,

with those many taste buds and they still eat scrap . Better for us, I suppose.

The Hawaiian State Fish

Humuhumu means “to fit pieces together.” This probably refers to the fish’s pretty blocks of colors which fit together like the pieces of a puzzle. Nukunuku-a-pua’a means “snout like a pig.” The fish makes strange grunting noises when taken out of the water. Therefore, some people thought its name meant “grunts like a pig.”
