Hunting Units A & E on Oahu.

I'd like to check um out. What's the best route/trails to take? is Mokuleia access Rd. open to public vehicle traffic? Do I need a permit? Mahaloz for any help.

you have to go in through the airforce station. check in and out. have ID and your hunting license. I have seen pigs in there while bird hunting. so I know they're around. Pigs and goats start for archery in Feb.

I'm thinkin bout going bird hunting there tomorrow. Anyone like go?

So how was the Bird hunting? I wanted to go yesterday but my truck was on fumes and I never like risk running out while looking for gas in the blackout. Yeah thats why I am the BABOOZE!

I went today. It was a quick trip cuz I got a late start so I ended up hunting midday. The only game birds I saw were some Erks on the side of the road. I did hear some nice birds in the thick cover though. I should have stayed for the afternoon. It sure is nice up there, I will go again for sure. Three more weeks of the bird deal and then Archery! yeah, saw lots of tracks.
