5 natural lakes on Oahu

Here is one for you guys.
I read on some website a while back that there were at one time 5 natural lakes on this island. You guys know anything about it? History, Location, Still have water,anything?

I searched around a little but didn't find much info.

I looked and found some 26 reservoirs and 18 other bodies of water classified as ponds, pools, lakes, and lagoons. You looking for any in particular?

No not really. I just read it somewhere and was interested. Always been kind of a nature lover. I figured most of the guys here being hunters are nature lovers too, so someone might know something.

I'm just kind of into this kind of stuff. Would like to check 'em out if there are indeed any still left.

I read that moiliili was once a rich underground aquafir.

That was a really cool link, Timmy. I'd heard about the Moilli cave when I lived on Oahu, and I always wanted to check it out, but never got a chance. Maybe some day........

Yeah cool, I never knew about that karst. I wonder how you get to the entrance?
