Hog fencing material??
Anyone know where I can pick up hog wire. I am gonna set up a pen and don't know where to pick up the material. I live on Oahu. Or if you have any suggestions on what to use. I am gonna be pounding in 5' poles about 2 feet deep. Any advice would be appreciated. Aloha

Home Depot probably is the cheapest place to get it.

Hey brah, home depot sells rolls of cattle fencing. You can get up to 300 ft per roll, plus you can cut down to whateva sizes you want. Check it out, beats paying $90 for 1 panel that you can't mend/bend.
But three feet brah, aint gonna cut it brah.

I would go with the heavy gauge panel especially if the pig wild. The light gauge stuff you get on the roll not going hold um unless you reinforce um real good. Heavy gauge chain link also good. Might be a good idea to bury the bottom a little because they tend to dig along the edges.

Yeah, we use the heavy gauge wire that has smaller openings on the bottom and get bigger opening on the upside. Even with the heavy gauge some of our pigs get their tusks stuck in the wire and they still bend it. We hold it together with scraps of electrical wire because my father in law is a electrician. It works good and if you want to move them you can just un-twist it and open the panel up. Just make sure you use the whole romex strand with the three (i think) wires in it. One little wire won't be enough.
