behind the check in box should have one opening in the fence to the right near the guard rail go through that walk until you see an opening to the left walk through until you reach the hill on the hill get one road walk down the road with the reservoir to your left .you will see stairs going up dont go up follow the road left you will see chain link go through that and follow through maybe 60yards,to your left you may see an opening in the bush going up,go up youll see a ditch walk across the ditch walk left up a very small hill and up it youll be by the pines theres a fern bowl there now with the fern bowling to your right,on your left you should see big pine trees, and guava trees across the fern now walk slightly left through the fern with the mountain to your right, you will reach the guava trees in front of you there may be pig trails in the fern bowl but anyway go into the guavas and youll see pig trails every where theres trails in there that go far and good spots for your setup plenty pig action in there.now back to the ditch that you cross if you go right of the ditch follow it and shortly youll see a heavyly used trail follow that trail up youll see a man made falls go across that falls and go up the stream,to the right theres action,to the left theres action just go venturing.if you like some time next week i can show you around up there havent bean there for a year but i remember the places ive been.aloha

Nuuanu is an archery-only zone as far as I know. Best way to learn the public hunting areas is to get out and hike them. Do some scouting-first on a map and then with your boots-to learn your hunting area and how the animals are using it. If you find another hunter's setup (treestand, feeder, etc.) be respectful and leave it alone. Give them some space and find your own setup. The work you put into the hunt will only make your trophies that much sweeter.
