headlamps
Just wondering what kind of headlamps everyone using?? I'm looking for one that is bright, compact, lightweight, and lasting on the battery life. Anyone got any recommendations??

Wassup Hunta,
I run the Princeton Apex. A little pricey, but the headlamp is super bright. Supposedly waterproof to 1 meter or 3 feet; I would call it water resistant. Best head lamp I've used so far. I even use it for torching.
Aloha

Re: headlamps
For a compact headlamp I would recommend the Princeton Tec EOS. It''s waterproof I've gone swimming with mine.

If you like the Princeton Tec APEX, I suggest that you look into the Fenix HP10.

Re: headlamps
Thanks for the input guys. I'm the type to start walking early in the morning to get far enough in the back before the sun comes out. With this recent weather that we'be been having, the flashlights just ain't cutting it!!! I want my hands to be free cause those darn river rocks are hella slippery.... Mahalo again... Chad

I like the coast brand led light. It is really inexpensive runs on 3 aaa and is really bright. For about 14-15 bucks can't go wrong. I pick mine up from nankos fishing supply or hardware Hawaii. Hope that helps. Aloha
