A tribute to Eric Sawchuk
In memory of my brother in law, the Hawaii Sportsman himself, ERIC SAWCHUK. Our family would like to thank the hunters and none hunters out there for all your support in The Hawaii Sportsman show. Eric has touched so many lives with his knowledge and passion for hunting. He possessed a caring attitude to share his hunting experiences with seasoned hunters and individuals new to the sport. His untimely passing has left us all with an awareness that we can never take our surroundings for granted, a lesson that we as parents need to instill in our children. We will miss him dearly and he will always be in our hearts. Long live HAWAII SPORTSMAN. Brad

We miss him, too.
All of his and Theresa's extended family at the Medical Center have a heavy heart. We will all miss him, and we send our prayers and thoughts to his Ohana.

sad day
Only spoke with Eric a few times on the phone prior to coming to the islands for my honeymoon last october. He helped me find someone to run the dogs with and that was a dream of mine for years. I hope it doesn't sound wrong or come out wrong but when we loose a dog hunting we always think that atleast it died doing what it loved. I realize he was young and had a family and no one wants to die but atleast he went out doing what he loved and not in something shitty like a car accident. A good man and he will be missed.

Rojahdat bradda Ted, he will be missed. After the hunt this weekend we gotta spill a drop for Bradda Eric n reflect. See you mauka.
RIP ERIC
When I first moved to Hawaii, my first hunts were with Eric, Brad, Brian and the boys. They showed me so much Aloha from the first time I met them. Eric was a great guy, and although it's been a number of years since I've been to Oahu, I'm always checking out his website and the Hawaii hunting scene. Eric was a great hunter and a great guy. RIP Eric!!
