How to bring in pigs when they go nocturnal? I have had a increase of dog hunters in several areas of mine and now the pigs are coming in at night. Any suggestions besides killing dogs. its not the dogs fault that there master is a trespassing poaching bonehead.

Same here. I wish I had an answer. I do know that once they go nocturnal its a while before they come out in day light again.

the only luck I've had is to turn the feeder down to once a day, late, right before dark. and then I supplement feed. I go in at least twice a week (during the morning or early afternoon. Never in the evening. I don't want to bump any hogs). I put out something other than corn. COB or Sweet stuff from the feed store. fruit, old ceral, dog food or anything around the house.
Also use some type of scent attractant (not urine). black gold or grim reaper etc, some thing that makes them curious. the idea is to make it as attractive as possible. the scent helps bring in other pigs that might be passing through. they come into investigate the smell and either find the food or smell the left over scent of the food. Don't feed alot maybe 1 or 2 big gulp size cups of COB or whatever. Even less from the feeder. The idea is to teach the hogs that the first one there gets the good stuff. once they start coming in right at dark turn the feeder on to feed one more feed 15 min earlier. so say you have it set at 7:00pm. once the pigs start showing up right at dark set another feed time for 6:45. once they start hitting that set another at 6:30. these feeds should be short small feeds.
give it a try and let me know your results.

Also,
stay out of the area in the evening time until you know the pigs are coming in and you plan to hunt. don't go in to fill the feeder or check trail cam photos. you don't want bump the hogs out. This is a very important rule and I never break it. I never go in after 3pm. even if I don't bump the hogs they can still smell that i was there real recent.
