Dum basses in action on Hilo side of Big Island

Have you guys seen this article? These bobos were probably poaching pigs that were feeding amongst the cows, and didn't check for a clean shot. Missed the pig and hit the cow. It's hard enough to get permission to hunt on private land as it is. These bobos are not helping anybody and making all archers look bad.

Actually, Hualalai Ranch(where these cattle were shot) is on the west side(Kona) side of the BI, not on the Hilo side. No matter where it happened, it is bad publicity for hunting and hunters, if in fact it was someone hunting. Who knows now days???

It's a real shame when folks do things like this. My brother had two cows killed and stolen from his farm. They never caught the criminals, but I hope in this case they do. Back in the day they would raised the buggers high in the tree by the neck!

I just saw that article and boy am I Personally I think they were trespassing and shot the cows for kicks. A black eye for ALL hunters. I hope this idiot gets caught.

Man thats some bad publicity for hunters again man it sucks alot to only see bad things regarding hunters in the news. What about all the good that we do day in and day out god forbid they tell the general public about that.

Well here it is again! Proof that natures law of survival of the fitest does not apply to humans. Idiots producing more idiots!
Not to mention that Pohakuloa Training Area has also been closed for archery hunting here on the Big I due to "hunters vandalism" This area only had about 2 more months of being available for hunting. I believe it was (after the game drive) 6 weeks of archery then 6 weeks of high-power rifle hunting. After all of that the area would be permanently shut down and they would make the final sweep via aerial shooting. P.T.A hunting no more.
I'll stop right there though. I can feel myself falling into the very place thay want me to be in.
