Good week for me and mrmahi.

Well just like mrmahi, I harvested my first pig. I'm guessing around 70-80lbs. She was a bitch to carry out. I don't know how you guys do it with those monsters. Anyways, I was in thus one spot on the edge if a clearing where I've seen them come out before, and I waited about a hour and a half and no signs of pigs. So around 710 I decided to go back to my place. As I was walking back I come across this sow about 25 yards away from me. She was in this thick ground vines and didn't see me. I took the shot and I see about 5 pigs scatter. I figured I missed her so I just keep walking to her spot without waiting. I get there and I see massive amounts of blood. So my heart starts pumping again and I follow the blood and find her about 20 ft away. She didn't even make a sound when I shot her that's why I thought i missed.


I'm so pumped to finally get my first bow kill in the bag. Congrats to mrmahi on your kill too.

Oh I shot her right in the vitals behind the front leg.

Congradulations on the great shot, dead in 20ft wow! You make a good point about getting the pig home. That is my biggest worry about actually getting a pig, that seems like the start of the hard work.
