MONSANTO PROTEST ON O'AHU TODAY 6/28/2012

Aloha fellow hunters. The protest demonstration against MONSANTO will be happening today. If you are able to participate, please do so.




This is a non-violent demonstration.

***THURSDAY, JUNE 28, 3:00 PM*** IN SOLIDARITY WITH MILLIONS AGAINST MONSANTO, OCCUPY MONSANTO AND MONSANTO PROTESTORS WORLDWIDE -- MEET AT STARBUCKS IN KUNIA - WE WILL PROCEED TO MONSANTO ENTRANCE ON KUNIA ROAD 3:00 PM

BRING PROTECTIVE MASKS, SIGNS & CAMERAS - WE ARE GOING TO THE MAIN SITE OF THEIR CHEMICAL AND GMO FIELD TRIALS IN HAWAII SO COVER YOURSELF !!! REMEMBER GMO USE MEANS ALSO HEAVY PESTICIDE USE, EITHER FROM HIGH DOSES OF HERBICIDE OR ENGINEERED INTO THE PLANT ITSELF, YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREATHE NEAR THEIR FIELDS DUE TO PESTICIDE DRIFT AND DUST ESPECIALLY, YET THEY DO THIS ACROSS FROM RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS. HARDWARE STORES SHOULD HAVE BREATHING MASKS. PLEASE WEAR.

Following a sign waving event on Maui last week, Oahu will hold its own protest against Monsanto in Kunia on Thursday, June 28 at 3:00 pm. Please meet at Starbucks in Kunia and bring masks, signs and banners and we need a photographers too. It's time to wake people up about the devastation that is going on in our backyards that our lawmakers tacitly condone through their acceptance of campaign contributions from biotech lobbyists. Please RSVP so we have an idea of how many are coming. We want to make a striking impression and need the numbers of concerned citizens to show up!

There is some room for a protest alongside Kunia road at the entrance to the Monsanto compound. I recommend two hours say 3:00 to 5:00 to get as many drivers on Kunia Road as possible. Hundreds drive by there every day thinking it is a nice farm and have no idea what it really is. A sign wave on Kunia would help raise awareness to Monsanto, GMO and pesticide use. ***EVERYONE BRING SIGNS, MASKS TO PROTECT YOU FROM GMO SPORES AND CHEMICALS. BRING CAMERAS TO DOCUMENT AND DRUMS TO CALL EVERY GOOD PERSON'S ANCESTORS AND MAKE SOME REAL NOISE!!!***

If any of the hunters are at this protest today if can ,get contact info from people there to help us with our fight here in Hawaii . Sad to say the mainland people get there people together and fight while a lot of us here in Hawaii kick back . Is what it is ,but we can change that one person at a time . From Mauka to Makai we all have common ground in all these issues . If you have contact info on Organization or people fighting this issue you work with or know to be up n up ,I would like to contact them . At this protest today a lot of people there don't know how involved Monsanto is with gov and helping to lobby with a lot of land that was taken away and will be taken away for fencing and eradication. Monsanto is in bed with conservation preservation that's are watershed and hunting areas. Guys we need all the help we can get .
