fencing manuka area reserve Approval

So I was looking throughout the dlnr plans for Manuka area reserve big island and looks like they fencing the whole reserve.They plan not to manage but to remove all game mammals meaning eradication. They plan to have the public and dlnr staff in and eradicate all ungulates then no more public hunting that's it for the public.. they also will allow biannual helicopter hunting expeditions at $800.00 an hour..as I read more of the plans it seems like its really all about the money and the people who hunt for food won't have anything to hunt. I would like to know how other hunters feel about this.. and ways we can put an end on further approvals
