ATTENTION ALL HUNTERS BE PART OF A SURVEY ON PIG MANAGEMENT

Call Cheryl Lohr @ 808-956-2434 to register at unversity of Hawaii Manoa the reason for this survey is to give Hawaii residents a chance to say how wild pigs should be managed on each island our opinions will be considerd and presented to politicians and wild life management dept to reveiw and recomend to draft new ideas and whether to control pigs thru snares or allow more HUNTERS to keep a handel on things...This is our chance guys to be united on something positive they need at least 200 people to register before they send out the survey ...They really want the outer islands to participate so l'm SHOUTING OUT TO BIG ISLAND CALL & REGISTER no shame if you get hard time read or write get your kids fo help you write down what you have to say..you can click on da Hawaii forum section and scroll down to Topic on pig management for direct story on dis subject anyways your thoughts matter T.c.K.P.

Note: Cheryl also noted that they have also extended their research/survey to conservation biologists as well and she has several hundreds ready to shoot on all the negative reasons to end wildgame in HAwaii ......But on the Hunters side only a few DOZENS so please call and sign up and support our cause this widow of opportunity will only be open for a period of time then it will be closed.we must also voice the same ideas on that survey when it come up ..so theres more to this topic later alohaz.

when is this meeting??????? I would rather show up Why can't we say it face to face to much is lost in some one else's words and there still wondering about snares ?? you got to be kidding !! This sounds a little hoke to me sounds like there are trying to do something with out doing any thing we need to join together and show up and be professional and get involved

howzit hog428 on da subject there is no meeting but da unversity of hawaii at manoa wildlife eucology is conducting a survey either by letter or email to hear your opinion on how you would suggest to manage wild pig population on your island also including other introduced wild animals like sheep goats deer ect..but main subject is touching on wild pigs your only requirement is that youre a hunter or you work with wild pigs.. theryre goal after this survey is to approach the politicians and enviorment profesionals to suggest a bottoms up aproach meaning concidering your voices and opinions as to rather then they making rash choices on their own.inorder for the university to start a survey they would need at least 200vpeople to call and register before they kick this project off ...so this is our chance to say our point of veiw.aloha...

That's my point!!! these people that are making our laws are at a loss for what to do ????? we need our own reps HUNTERS not!! some one with good intensions YOU GUY'S we need to choose our own reps there are many on this site with the knowledge to represent our life style and to give educated solutions to game control nobody has more hands on experience than the hunter that has his diploma of mountain economics THIS IS JUST MY THINKING


I understand the need for the survey but feel that our goal to preserve our way of life the true meaning of these words will be lost from some one who lacks our passion for this life style

I'm registered with her. Had some good email conversation back n forth too, she is willing to speak at a meeting. The survey sounds like it is gonna be kinda wierd though, gonna have questions not only about game animals but feral cats, parrots, etc. too. All of us that registered wont get the survey until she has enough hunters from each island signed up...so c'mon e'ry body!
