My 08/09 Martin Moab. Thats a 08 riser with 09 limbs. Strings by George Kong, Trophy Ridge Matrix sight and a Ripcord rest. Not the fastest bow in the world but it works for me.[img]url=https://servimg.com/view/12887054/6][/img]

Thanks Dave, Yet to put a kill on it yet. Thinking of trying out black gold, but I'm broke right now.

My bow huntin rigs1
Howzit Timmy96815, Bigislandhunter, Upfront, Jusacrusah, and Babooze?
Greetings from my remote Alaskan island home. I dig checkin out your rigs so much, wanted to try and post some pics of mine too- my wall rack of several recurves and my bowfishing compound, plus my 5 yr old son's mini-bear compund, my selfmade osage and hickory bow and arrows with turkey fletch feather cedar arrows with stone knapped heads, plus my pride and joy 62" recurve (37#)- took a buck with it when I was 10 years old at 15 yards, and my old mathews MQ1, and my new Mathews Switchback 72# with 7 pin Boss Hogg site, and also a frame of all the broadheads I used to kill critters over the years, whitetails, blacktails, caribou, moose, goats, hogs, and turkeys. Today at lunch I shot a pie plate group of 3 arrows from 70 yards - way psyched and going up Mauka tomorrow morning for an opening day blacktail buck, hoping to avoid bears.
I am not sure how to get these pics on here, but uploaded them to image serve - so will try. Hope you like to check out my stuff - I've been bowhunting since the late 70s. I go to Kauai and hunt with a really great crew of friends from Kapa'a the past couple winters. dog and knife and treestand for hogs plus spot and stalk goats - just love it! I wanna someday be lucky enough to try and hunt axis and mouflan too.
Like Hog Wild says: "some go hunting, some are hunters", I say " live to hunt and hunt to live"
aloha braddahs- shoot straight -
I hope these pics work

AK Andy's bow rigs 1
Back to this one that didn't work the first time:
this is my wall rack of all but 2 of my recurves, plus my son's min-bear compound (it was mine when I was young), and my old Golden Eagle that is now for bowfishing - plus up top is my zulu spear and a doubled up arrow that was a 60 yard Robin hood that I never pulled apart.

AK Andy wanted to add comment
That first pic of the Mathews MQ1- I used that bow to make my longest one shot kill to date- I got a blacktail buck at 72 laser rangefinder measured yards- double lung and Rocket Steelhead mechanical broadhead - that bow also got me a 65 yard one shot kill on a broadside caribou- I took a picture of a perfect "X" through the heart where the broadhead passed through - that little MQ1 shot just as well as my newer Switchback.
anyhow, keep the faith braddahs - wish I was somewhere in HI bowhunting - but having a great summer up here in AK. Hope you liked the pics- peace

My 2002 Merlin Hunters Quest 64# 28"draw.
This bow has done good for me in the bush, at 30.5" ATA, it packs a pretty good punch.
Thanks for looking

Nice bow rigs!
AHHLRIGHT!
Honu eu, those are some way sweet rigs brah! I loved checkin em out. I dig that indonesian long bow and the quiver. Are the arrows tipped with metal heads?
Howzit Timmy96815? sorry my reply is late, I got server problems sometimes here on my remote island - to answer your question about the zulu spear - I bought it several years ago because we got a lot of black bears around here where I live and I wanted to spear one with it. Then there was some guy in the newspaper who speared a black bear down by Juneau and got arrested. Apparently since the State Fish and Game Department did not have an open black bear spearing season, then it is illegal to spear one, even though you are allowed to spear them with an arrow you shoot from a bow. I had an idea to bring it to Kauai to use on a hog, or even a goat, I am sure it would be easy to spear a hog (like with dog and knife) if the dogs had the hog bayed, but might be too dangerous with the dogs all in there too. Might just sit up a tree over a trail or above a feeder and wait for a nice fat pig to come under and stick him. I'll post a pick of my spear - tell me what you think?
Mahalo for lookin,
Aloha,
AK Andy
