Cattle train ?

Anyone get one cow or know some one that can help me cattle train my dogs ? Or any one can help me out lmk pleases plenty young dogs gotta be cattle train , thanks everybody lmk god bless -shawn

You need to become friends with a rancher bu.. So at least u have a spot for hunt if you come good friends and they trust u and ur dogs if not u just goin risk getting them shot. Just saying.

I get choke rancher friends they going let me hunt there ranch but they no like me use there horse and cow to train my coonz , they no like me beatin the dogs in front of them . But they family they let me hunt there property .

Rajah..you no gotta beat the dogs for get them stock trained. The trick is to get them comfortable and used to being around them and seeing how you react around the cattle also since u get rancher friends then i dont see why they wouldnt let u just drive up there and keep the dogs in the rack at first let them see you act calmly around the cattle and no show intrest. Gotta do that daily and if they bark and show aggression use firm voice commands. Constant exposure to livestock is key to training. Thats how i did it...no shock collars and no beating.

Just gotta run em and see. Like kawika said, no need beat em. Firm commands nuff. More exposure the better. Just gott try em.

Do you have any dogs already trained? Do you hunt your families and friends ranch already? What kind of handle do you have over your dogs? If you cannot drop the dog and call um back you should work on that first! I prefer to produce 1 young dog at a time, Can do multiple but when dealing with a dogs prey drive and pack instincts I prefer to single the dog out for better results. It's best to introduce them to livestock as young as possible, Makes it go smoother and baby teeth can't hurt as bad should they get ahold an ankle!
