New guy questions

Hello all,
My work is taking me to Hilo for the next two or three years. I have been hunting for years in the north east US but nothing like the hunting you do over there. I have been looking at the DNR site but i'm still full of questions. Do you have any tips on hunting pigs and gamebirds on your island? I should be able to hunt around september this year.

How's it going,
I myself am new to Oahu and looking to stick some pig's/goats/deer. Coming from Washington so hunting and fishing here is going to be a new experience for me. Have been researching some, but don't know where to start, looking for some help on where to go. Basically all the things a new guy is looking for, but don't need the secret spots, just a start. Been hunting all my life, Not about to stop now.

Did you folks take your "Hunters safety class" yet?????????
you need to take the class in order to hunt here in hawaii.
If you allready have a "hawaii hunting license" you are ready
