no my first with the new bow was a Puuanahulu goat that measured 17".

Seen a small group of goats feeding on a little hill so I decided to get closer for some pictures. After about a 70 yard belly crawl, that took 45 min, I was close enough to take some pictures but not close enough to take a shot. After trying to get some pictures they decided to move off to my left and funnel down the hill. They funneled about 65 yards away. After that group left another peeped up on the horizon. As I glassed, I seen a billy with a wide and deep sweep. I kept my rangefinder ready and was ranging all of the rocks. If they were to go the same route as the last group I knew i had no shot. After about 5 min of feeding they decided to go back down the hill. I kept my rangefinder on him...79.......72....70.....67.......62....69...71.....he just kept on walking away and never got close enough. But for some reason the hunting gods were on my side. A nanny in heat decided to feed to a reasonable shooting distance. That old billy could not resist. He came over to check her out and turned broadside. As soon as he did the arrow was on its way. The shot ended up a little low but he went down in 30 yards. What a hunt.

I'm hoping for a good hunt Wednesday as I will be heading to OGG for a hunt with my brother-in-law somewhere up Haleakala.

Cool, makes me want to hunt pig again real bad. thanks for postin the pics - plus seeing your kid all stoked makes me feel really good. I love that! I'm coming back from AK in march to hunt for a boar like that one brah- Wow!

Hit the secret spot today. Shot this nice sow, had two smaller boars with her but they ducked away too quick. While we were blood tracking the sow had a big boar like 150 come bust out, took a shot but hit a stick and went under his chest too low. Found the sow about 75 yards from where I shot her.
